It’s a little hard to find reactions to Chevelle’s song An Evening with El Diablo. I guess because it’s not one of their most popular songs off of the Wonder What’s Next album. In fact, when we were at the concert in Ocean City, MD, Pete himself referred to this one as a “deep cut” before playing it.
I’m not totally up on the lingo so I don’t exactly know what a deep cut is, but I think it’s those songs in albums that are deep in there that no one knows about because they’re not on the radio. In any case, I don’t care what Pete calls it. It’s a great song!
Let’s see if Lauren from Music, Cats, and Coffee agrees with me.

I had to go back to look at my top 22 favorite Chevelle songs because I couldn’t remember if it was in there. And I’m kind of sad to see that it’s not. I should probably redo my top 22 and put this song on it, but it’s so hard to change it now.
