Fell Into Your Shoes is quite a different-sounding song from Chevelle’s album, Sci-Fi Crimes, but it’s one that I personally love. It’s in my top 22 favorite Chevelle songs, after all!
I love Pete’s falsetto voice in this one.
In the lyrics, Pete says, “I fell into your shoes, but only one.” Just curious what you think that means? I personally have no idea. Let me know your interpretation in the comments.
In any case, I was pleasantly surprised to see some YouTubers react to this song. It’s not a big hit. I don’t think most people even know it exists. (And if you’re one of those people, definitely explore all of Chevelle’s songs. There are some gems that I guarantee you haven’t heard on the radio.)
