Chevelle fans have been waiting not-so-patiently for word about their new album, as this commenter in the ChevelleOnline Facebook group demonstrated back in February.

And now it’s August 5 (at the time of this writing), and we’re only days 10 from the release of Bright as Blasphemy, their 10th studio album!
FINALLY!
And with a new album comes a new tour.
Even better?
According to this Facebook post, they’re going to switch things up during the tour and add “new ideas and long awaited tracks.”

Will The Red finally be banished? Fans are tired of hearing that one, and I’m 100% sure the boys are tired of playing it.

It’s time to retire that one and dip into their amazing collection.
They could make a list of all their songs (taking out The Red, of course), paste them onto a wall, then throw 15 darts at them blindfolded to create an incredible setlist from whatever the darts land on.
That’s how good their collection is. (And The Red is good too. We just need a break from it!)
I’ll let you know after I see my concert what the setlist was like. I’m excited to find out. I’m going to the show on August 23, 2025 at the Stony Pony Summer Stage in Asbury Park, NJ. This is a new venue for us, and that’s always an adventure.
I also did something a little crazy.
They are selling the snare drum that Sam uses at each of the shows, and I bought the one for our show.

My husband keeps asking what I’m going to do with it.
I have NO IDEA, but I’m excited to figure it out. 😅
I also don’t know how it’ll be delivered. Will there be a will call somewhere? Will there be a quick meet-and-greet?
I’ll let you know!
Will you be at one of their shows? Which one? How excited are you about the new album? Let me know in the comments!
